Daily: Scripture Memory, Literature, Bible/Devotional

Once- Two Times a Week: Poetry, Picture Study, Hymn Study, Folk Song Study, Music Study

Spontaneous, As Able: Nature Study, Service, Handicrafts

(Try to continue regular schedule of math, reading, copywork, science, foreign language, and history/geography, but plan to have a “light” schedule the week of Christmas and following Christmas. Also, we consider our bible readings part of history.)

I am desperately trying to remember where I first heard about the Charlotte Mason method but I am drawing a blank. It may have been a neighbor that loaned me the book, For the Children's Sake, or it may have been through my friend Lacy, or it may have been through Sally Clarkson's ministry.
